Inside a rare pine forest at Selakano Crete, with beautiful springs, little streams and magnificent gorges, you will have the chance to learn kneading and baking of the bread with the Cretan traditional way.
I am Despoina and together with my mother Maria, we will present you how traditional baking takes place in Crete. You will learn about the savory bread Eftazimo with a hands-on activity. Afterwards, my father’s traditional wood-oven will bake our breads with the unique Eftazimo taste.
Following the Bread Kneading lesson, food tasting becomes a reality and a traditional Cretan Lunch will be waiting for us.
The Bread Kneading lesson will be conducted in Pezoulia Selakano Crete (period July, August, September).
